At Church Farm Care, people are viewed as family rather than residents.
People Matter: Our Story.
By Patrick and Lucy Atkinson.
Our aim is to bring out the best in everyone who lives and works with us.
We pride ourselves on ensuring that Church Farm Care promotes well-being, through the creation of 'family' focused households. Our Team create a homely, relaxed feel to each day, to support individuals to live their best lives through strong friendships.
Our Team are not just care professionals. They are dedicated, caring and compassionate care givers. We continually support our Team through certified training programmes, personal development and wellbeing support, enabling them to be the best that they can be.
Nursing takes place behind the scenes, so that you can focus on the things that matter in life. So don't expect to see nursing uniforms, drug trolleys, or large dining rooms. For those who live in our communities, emphasis is placed on home just as much as care. Because People Matter.
We believe that every moment is a moment to treasure
We encourage all who live with us at Church Farm to continue to explore passions, old and new. From painting and gardening to storytelling and music, we celebrate individuality, connection, and the vibrant lives still being lived within our communities.

Jane's story
Experienced care worker and house leader Jane Hernandez understands more than most the toll that caring for people with dementia can take.
After finishing her shift at Church Farm Care, ensuring everything is running smoothly and the people here are well cared for, she returns home to look after her own mum, who was diagnosed with dementia five years ago.

Continuous improvement and our future
Work will start at Church Farm at Skylarks soon, with an ambitious programme of expansion which includes the re-opening of the Skylarks swimming pool to the public.
Church Farm will also develop 5 pods comprising two bedroom, self enclosed accessible living spaces where people can stay for respite care. The pods will be set within the beautiful landscaped gardens of our Skylarks community.
